On March 22, 2011, in Industry News, by Florence Ion

Valve and Aperture Science have teamed up to bring you, the fans, an exciting video series. And yes, the Aperture we’re referring to is of the Portal 2 variety. The release date of the long-anticipated game is fast approaching, and to celebrate Valve is releasing a number of documentary-style videos to promote the game.

The press release, written as if it came straight from Aperture Science’s own PR team, states the following:

The first video, titled “Panels”, showcases one of the many lucrative products in development at the applied sciences company. Narrated by Aperture CEO and founder Cave Johnson, it offers a fascinating glimpse at the future of test environment construction.

“Portal 2 is the best documentary-style investment opportunity game we’ve ever contributed to,” said Gabe Newell, President of Valve, “and we’re confident that savvy investors will immediately see the value in these product demonstration videos.”

New videos will be posted weekly until the April 19 release of the game. We’ll be sure to have them up for you as soon as they become available.
