The folks at PCWorld may now own the first totally destroyed iPad after releasing their stress test video over the weekend.

The 4.5 minute video features Senior Editor Tim Moynihan subjecting the iPad to drops on various surfaces, spills of baked goods, baptism by Starbucks, and an overhand baseball pitch.

It opens with Moynihan giving a testimonial in a British accent, lampooning Jonathan Ive. Dressed in a black shirt, in front of a white background, the video starts off feeling like any good Apple parody.

The next shot is of a family-size bowl full of a sugary cereal, right next to a new iPad, a bad sign for Apple’s new tablet. Within seconds, a coffee mug enters the frame and spills a few tablespoons of coffee onto the device.

After Moynihan dropped it onto a carpeted floor from a seated position a few times, the iPad developed a display glitch.

"I felt bad about doing these stress tests before I went into the video, but honestly it broke kind of easily," Moynihan said at the end of the video. "Easily enough that I don’t really feel bad anymore. If you get an iPad, you’re definitely going to want a protective case for it."

We’re not going to give away the whole video, but we’ll tell you that PCWorld seems to have found out that holding an iPad under a running faucet is a bad idea.

Though the video is called a "stress test," it reminds us of something.
