According to Charlie Wolf, an analyst for Needham & Co., Apple will see a slump in the sales of the iPad. Charlie Wolf has raised his shipping estimate from 1.5 million to 2.5 million, but for the September quarter, he believes Apple will only ship 1.5 million iPads.
The reason for this sharp decline in iPad sales estimates after the September quarter is astonishing, but could be linked to a declining interest in the product or a return to school for students (one of the iPad’s targeted audiences).
This news comes just one day after Apple announced that they had sold 2 million devices in a record 60-days.
