Your awesome
Wow, thank you so much! Halfway through the video I saw the code and was successful in downloading! Love the app and your awesome explanation on it
Another commercial video. What are the benefits comparing with Documents by Readdle ?
Alanto Blooddy Sorry, Document is useless. There are bettter than this
I was asking myself the same thing… This seems to have some extra clipboard features, but I am enjoying Documents too.
As a Documents and Yoink user, I can say they aren’t quite the same thing. Yoink is more of a “clipboard on steroids” than a file/document manager. It basically takes the place of a desktop on a Mac/PC as a place to temporarily store things that you’re working with often or for a short time. For that purpose, it works extremely well. Documents (which I love) is the full-featured file manager that Apple’s Files app should be IMHO
Sponsored?
Definitely not. Sponsored videos always say SPONSORED in big letters directly in the title. For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFPPiZakyJc We are never shady about this sort of thing, and take being transparent extremely seriously.
Thanks Jef
Wow what a great app. I am tossing up between a Macbook and an iPad Pro but I still can’t bring myself to go for the iPad mainly because I do heaps of photo editing and need Capture One but it is VERY tempting. Apps like these make the switch far more possible than before.
10 minutes later I still can’t think of any practical uses for this app, why wouldn’t you just use the Files App? It seems to just look different then the Files App. If you have something in Files and you want to email it, just hit the share button. If you want to put a link in Notes, side by side, drag and drop. Yoink seems to add a step.
Whoda Kat or documents app
Yoink is fantastic the only thing missing is the ability to password protect specified files. That would make it perfect.
It can download/ extract videos from pages, like youtube or this stuff? I saw a lot of this app in appstore but idk which is better
hugo sanches you can use Workflow for stuff like that.
The codes are both redeemed, so I bought the app. Great stuff.
No more 18:9 video???
Thanks! I am using Documents by Readdle for the same reasons though… But Yoink seems to have nice Clipboard features!
What’s that app with the magnifier glass in the dock? Looks intriguing.
I started using Yoink on my Mac b/c of a previous video of yours. It is now an indispensable part of my Mac workflow! I am still growing in my level of expertise with Yoink on the iPad, but it is already clear to me Yoink can be an even greater “game changer” on the iPad than on the Mac…which is saying a lot! Thanks so much for your awesome videos!!!
Awesome! Yoink is one of my favourite apps on my Mac (which I believe you introduced me to years ago!), definitely gonna try it out on iOS too!
Yoink commercial?
Awesome!! Can’t wait for it to add the sync between devices function 😀
No money to buy it so, yoink TriHard 7
