In this episode of Final Cut Friday, Jeff discusses why you should consider adding keywords to clips that you plan to remove from your project timeline so that you can easily find them later.

Sick dude
A question about Apple Motion, do you know if I can import a 3D object into Motion 5 (to rotate, animate…)? If yes which file name?
No, you cannot. Motion is NOT a 3D app, but a 2D (or 2.5D if you will) app. If you need functionality like that, then you need to get something like mO2 from motionVFX. Or any 3D package, of which there are many. Blender, Cinema 4D etc.
Ok, thank you so much
Very useful tip, you saved me a lot of time
Very nice tip Jeff for those of us who are too fast on the trigger sometimes. Thank You
nice tipz
i like this steve urcle guy. Thumbs up
I don’t use Keywords at all. Now, I have a very good use for them. Thank you, Jeff. (:
I have a ‘spare’ project, where I c&p clips I want to ‘save’, lol. I wasn’t aware of this!
Do anyone know how to export a partial set of clips on project timeline to compressor? Without making it compound clips. Thanks!
