  1. Thanks for the great overview! I’m excited to update, probably once 15.0.1 comes out 🙂
Jeff, it sounds to me like the audio is EQed strangely — I’m picking up a lot of high-end which made it kind of harsh on my ears. Alternatively, speaking farther from the mic would probably also help. (Maybe this is just a “me” problem though.)

  2. I prefer the new Safari layout, it just feels better, I just wish that the Cancel button when creating a new tab would be at the bottom, not only this but a lot of elements on Safari appears at the bottom like bookmarks and stuff, I wish iOS will be like that everywhere, maybe it will be like iOS 10 Music app where the later after in iOS 11 all apps had the same “look”.

  3. IMO, the focus modes are going to be an even bigger game changer for iPadOS since most users use their iPad for notetaking/studying and for media consumption (YouTube, Netflix, etc.)

  4. iOS 15 is incredible. I saw the presentation on it a little while ago and got really excited about its release, which is never the case for me– I usually don’t care about iOS updates. I also love what iOS 14 and 15 have done for the AirPods pro.

  5. Focus Mode is going to be incredibly helpful for me. I think I will get to sleep at a decent time, now that I can only set specific apps to appear, and not spend hours on others that would keep me up.

  6. Weather App – pretty cool. Note that notifications are not available in Australia. And, it would be really helpful in the Weather App to display the precise local time at the place you’re viewing, rather than just intuit it from the hours scale and the blue-to-black background colours on the screen.

    • Hows weather pretty coo when I’ve been complaining about the weather app is only showing New York all day very disturbing I have no help here to get the weather application to be fix it’s being ignored since ios 14 and the same nasty bugs and battery life sucks

  7. Very happy with the new weather app. I was forced to use other apps because of the limited info in the previous versions.

  8. I’m loving the Live Text feature. As someone that takes a lot of screenshots and pictures of things with text, this is super helpful!!!

Amazing video as always, Jeff! Much love!

  9. Thanks for the informative video. I’ve stumbled across some of these features on my own, but you’ve brought a lot more to my attention. I will definitely be setting up some custom focus modes, such as a driving mode with my map and music apps all on one Home Screen.

  10. Jeff, excellent job as always. You make the best walk-through videos, hands down. I always learn something new from your content.

  11. What they could add to the tab groups on safari is the option to automatically add new tabs of a website to an existing group.

  12. Learned a ton about focus mode here that I wasn’t aware of. Thought it was a cool idea but now I see how useful it is.

  13. Focus is by far the best improvement on iOS 15. It gives a huge flexibility to the old do not disturb. I really enjoyed it.

  14. The live text is exactly what I used translation apps for. During school I’d have to write out essays on paper as rough drafts then rewrite over computer so me being lazy would use photo translation apps and just copy the results over. Then do my editing

  15. I like the enhancements to Messages and FaceTime (and Sharetine). Getting rid of Skype, Zoom, yes. Keep building the FaceTime environment Apple. As long as the macOS versions keep up and Messsages keeps it’s WAN abilities.

  16. I really like the Safari changes—I only wish they’d made this an option in the iPad OS, as well. Great video!
