  1. Thank you so much 9to5Mac for reviewing our app! I’m the lead developer and I cannot stress how thankful we are! The app is pretty fresh but we’ll fix up the bugs you highlighted! Thanks again for the feedback!

    • @RyderTheApple if you can write a decent for loop or understand recursion I’d say you know more than just basic js ❤ but knowing basic js is still something to be proud of! Python is much more user friendly but if you’re interested in front end or full stack then js is the one you’d have to understand, and that can be frustrating. FreeCodeCamp is a pretty great site to learn and practice JS but harvards CS50 is a great free course if you’re ever interested in learning more basics!

    • @Heather Holt that’s just what I use, but python looks way more complicated than JS. Starting at a young age with little time cause of school.

  2. Should I expect this app to work better (less crashing and errors occurred) with the beta of watchOS 9?

    • WatchTube is nonfunctional on watchOS 9 and this is not our fault. Apple broke the videoplayer and we’re waiting on them.

    • @llsc and galaxy I’m on watchOS 8, but it only plays videos on the home page and not ones I search. I’m on series 7

  3. This looks interesting… and now we have a new tool to stress test the Apple Watch battery. Lol

  4. These HDR videos are so good
Why most of the tech channels or literally any other channel don’t record in HDR ?

  5. If this application becomes successful, You bet YouTube will make an official app for apple watch.

  6. if there‘s no sound in the videos, unmute your watch by pressing the bell icon in the control centre. should work.

  7. Needs a landscape mode (display rotated 90 degrees). That way, you can take it off your wrist and put it on a table to view. The watch band becomes a natural stand, the aspect ratio of the screen is closer to 16:9 content, and it’s a more comfortable position for extended viewing.

    • agreed, will explore this and try to add it. I also had this idea whilst talking to my friend and we both agreed on having a toggle in settings to enable auto rotation of some sort.

    • Nice! Can you send the app to the background and keep listening to the video’s audio while using another app?
If it can do that, I might switch back to an Apple Watch. For now, I’ve been using a Galaxy Watch specifically because it can do this.

  8. Would love to have just an audio version option but the fact this app even exists and worked for me right off the bat is great.
    Bravo y’all
