  1. Wow no friends interface? That was probably my most used thing it made it
so easy to text people, I’m kinda dissapointed

    • No problems with battery life here . . . but in the first days you’ll use
more because you’re playing more with the watch . . .

    • I have the original apple watch and my battery lasts me for a good two days
with no recharging, I’m not sure how this new one will hold up though.

  2. Really disappointed in the loss of glances as well as the contacts wheels.
Glances and complications make up 90% of my use of my Apple Watch. Control
music, glances. Heart rate, glances. Battery, glances. Scores glances.
Weather glances or complications. 3rd party iOS camera app shutter you
could tap the volume + or – to snap a picture. Health tracking, glances.
The only time I used the apps was to play a watch game, check social
networks, start a workout, and start my sleep tracker on my watch. And I
have about 5 lists of favorite contacts my circles of co workers friends
and family and so on for different things I do, easily accessible.

It’s kind of going to be up in the air if losing glances and friends is
worth it compared to having the newest stuff in watchOS 3.

Also I’m kind of nervous about accidentally calling emergency services with
the SOS feature. Numerous times through the year it’s so easy for me to
activate Siri on my watch pressing the crown opening the app honeycomb menu
or even taking screenshots when later I see on my camera role a screen shot
of my watch face randomly. I feel there is going to be a ton of accidental
emergency calls now since it’s so easily launched.

    • Yeah, I was thinking the same thing but then saw that frequent apps can be
docked, so it’s essentially the same thing.. the only annoying thing is
that other apps will show up there until I remove them, whereas Glances
only showed the ones I chose to be there.

    • I like the look of their products but hate the company, so I don’t buy any
Apple any more. And cannot see the value of a watch. Its a problem looking
      for a solution.

    • Probably a lot more than you realize!.. I personally use all apple products
because they link to my medical devices.. For instance I use a Dexcom G5
continuous glucose monitor and it shows my blood glucose levels on my watch
at any time I want to see it.. So I use it more as a medical device, but
many others also use it in many other ways.

    • +Mike Kleinsteuber + I’ve had the watch for close to a yeah now and had it
in the draw for about 3 months once I got my Gamin Phoenix 3. However, one
of my techy friends recently bought the Apple Watch and I’ve learned so
much about it that is becoming a favorite. Whether physical training or
just staying in contact with friends or work on the go the talk to text
feature (though glitchy) is a win win. This watch is highly favored for
functionality (many things not mentioned here) and for people who really
don’t want to hold a phone in their hands.

  3. i am trying to sell an apple watch sport 38mm (sealed) i don’t need for
over 2 weeks now… and haven’t received any responses! usually i am able
to sell things on craigslist in a matter of hours (days at the max);..
looks like no one is interested in apple watch at all!
