Last week I met up with the people behind Pinć (Pinch), an under development VR headset that utilizes Minority Report-style user interfaces opposed to the mostly gaming experiences we’ve seen thus far from the competition. There are also a few other big differentiators for Pinc: it doubles as an iPhone case, uses hand gestures tracked by the iPhone’s camera for input, and includes a full SDK for developers built on Unity.

Cool concept, good luck with it. However, I hope you do realize that no one
will carry such a fat phone case around. Perhaps it would be better to
design a small standalone pop-in headset.. maybe with a charger
functionality built in – as an extra incentive – for people to carry it
around..

too big for a case.
And please add some control schemes apart from these two on-hand cursors.

Now we need tactile gloves to feel keyboard buttons. Without them the
technology will be a new but not long-lasting game. I need to type in the
words.
PS Well, maybe with mind reading machines it`ll work. Maybe, some games
with them would be amusing, f.e. flight simulators. With sensors that read
your intentions the device would make your virtual plane turn in the
required direction.
