1. can you skip songs with your Stearin controls?

   • On my Hyundai Sonata, I can. If you install it aftermarket, I’m almost certain you will have to buy an additional kit for steering wheel controls to work.

2. that dark theme is so boring… looks like MS engineers developed this OS

   • Shalev Lazarof I agree. I can understand dark mode when your driving at night. It’s really a boring UI.

3. Ok so that doesn’t even closely resemble what my home screen shows. I have a 2014 Toyota 4Runner.

   • Unfortunately no you can’t change the wallpaper, very boring I think.

   • Yeah, but I guess that’s to make it less distractive when driving.

6. Hope they fix crash issues, my phone always has the sues connecting & will crash when I’m using book or podcast apps

8. The main negative to CP is that you have to plug in your phone. I hope all the main Brands follow Alpines lead and go wireless carplay in the near future.

9. I wonder if its possible to get this installed in existing cars. Is there someone doing a after market installation or carplay?

   • Abhishek Srivastava there’s after market car ply head units that you can install yourself or have an audio shop do for u

   • Well, you can see in the video that he’s using an aftermarket solution (Sony). I’ve been using the Pioneer Appradio 4 and I like it.

10. Still prefer Google map, when it’s time to shop for a new car, if Google maps is still not supported by car play, I guess I am forced to use Android

    • Yan Luo Apple maps has come a long way, though, I use it often now.

12. Apple PLEASE add the ‘Up Next’ functionality to CarPlay that would enable me to add a song, album , or artist next after the current song that is playing
