  1. Im waiting for Apple to come out with a wireless keyboard with the TouchBar, and perhaps TouchID.

    • The Matias keyboard, in this video, does come in backlight and not backlight. Both will last a year on one charge for the keyboard operation. However, the backlight has its own battery, and depending on brightness and such that will last a couple of weeks.

But I still would like to see Apple build a full wireless keyboard like the Matias, but with backlights, TouchBar and TouchID.

  2. I’ve been waiting a longgggg time for this! I’ve always wondered why Apple didn’t release the wireless keyboard with a numerical pad.

    • They did. That version is $40 more, coming in June. The backlit comes with a separate battery which could last days or weeks. The keyboard remains functional if the backlit is out of juice.

  3. How does the key travel and feel compare to the old wired USB keyboard from Apple?

  4. I have been waiting so long for this. I’ve been using apples wired version in white for years… this made my day. Instant buy.

  5. Am I the only one who got used to shallow key keyboards? I hate the arrow key layout but key travel is fine on the new keyboards.

  6. i still prefer my logitech solar mac keyboard that has unlimited battery life and never needs to be charged by a wall charger or usb cable of any kind runs of light.

  7. no usb c cable so its pretty useless and i am no going to buy a cable for something that doesn’t suppose usb c out of the box.
