The iPhone 7 Plus has an additional 1 GB more of RAM than the iPhone 7, but should it influence your purchase? The short answer is: yes it matters for the iPhone 7 Plus, but it doesn't necessarily make it perform better than the iPhone 7 in day-to-day tasks.

Thanks for the video! This is something I’ve been concerned about, but now
I have a better understanding of how ram works on both phones.
Jeff, do some benchmarks and app refresh test
I accidentally purchase the 7 instead of the Plus because they didn’t have
it on launch day and I have to say it’s the best decision I’ve made. I’ve
been using the 6 plus and the 6s plus and I never knew how comfortable it
is to just have the regular 4.7 inch one. It’s lighter, actually more
snappier and overall have better portability than the plus variant. IMO I’d
go for the regular instead of the Plus.
Same thing happened to me, had the 6+ and 6s+ but got the 7 and forgot what
it was like to have a compact phone, I love it and the battery isn’t bad at
all
Yeah right? I was on the train and I was able to finally text with one hand
XD
The difference is also there cuz of going from 750p screen on the 7 to the
1080p screen on the 7 plus due to everything being larger files to load
from higher resolution
Great review ! Keep going !!!
I don’t think is this a good test best way to test is apps. Open it and
reopen it you will see.
Always quick and to the point. Thanks, Jeff!
Thank you so much for this! It helped put my mind at ease some what, if you
can make a resolution differences video that would be AMAZING! And you’d be
the first video of its kind showing maybe things like how much more we can
see on screen in different scenarios, not so much the slightly noticeable
color differences or other similar things, Thanks again! You rock!
that left finger tremble
+9to5Mac please try app switching, my 6S have awful load times for some
apps and i preorder 7+ just for more RAM and better multitasking.
Thanks!
the most weird thing is that Apple doesn’t need to play catch up with the
phone specification.
they just need to update the spec whenever needed.
It is very illogical test. There are running same software, and i think
they made a manangment system wich depends on memory quantity, not memory
rate.
