First and foremost, please share your thoughts on the iPhone SE 2 below. I’m genuinely interested in how the public will respond to such a device, given the unique circumstances surrounding its release. Also, which storage configuration/color will you choose if you are buying?

9to5Mac My dad plans on getting the black 128 gb version. He’s upgrading from the original SE. I have the 256 gb XS Max and I’m not planning on getting the SE, but for some reason I’m still excited about this release!!

I have a Xs and I’m actually considering upgrading to the new SE. I’m sure many people will think I’m crazy/dumb for doing this, but here are my reasons:
Battery life: I only get about 4 hours of on screen time on my Xs. I previously owned an 8, which had considerably better battery life in my experience. This new SE is predicted to have the same battery life as the 8.
WiFi/LTE reception: My Xs sometimes suffers from poor reception, which once again wasn’t an issue on my 8. The internet doesn’t work in some places where it was fine with my 8.
Touch ID: Face ID is great, but in my experience Touch ID was quicker and more convenient for me. With Touch ID I can even unlock my phone in my pocket without having to look at my phone.
One handed use: I like having the full screen design of the Xs, but the smaller screen on the 8/SE makes it easier to use one handed.
I know this phone is missing many features my Xs has, but battery life and internet reception are more important to me than anything else

I have teh XS Max and I feel you. I had a 5s way back when and i LOVED how tiny it was and how it can just go just like that in my pocket. Im certainly preordering it so i can get it asap I’m so excited

This phone has Apple keeping me as a customer. I will never spend $1,000 on a phone. I was very seriously considering a different phone. I’m very happy for the SE2 because that means there will be an affordable phone for people who love Apple products.
