A peek inside the Apple Watch Ultra

The Apple Watch Ultra is in customers’ hands now, and there are four exposed screwheads on the bottom, so I wanted to take a look inside.

  1. How does it work just fine if it isn’t water “proof” anymore? Anything not working as intended isn’t working fine..

    • @Lamarr Williford Lamarr, have you ever worn a watch this isn’t waterproof?

If you can’t wash your hands because you’ll break something on your wrist, it is not worth wearing at all.

    • @Chandler Russell I have, I had the original Galaxy S smartwatch, which they recommended you take it off to wash your hands.

I’m not saying water resistance isn’t important, but it’s not a smartwatch’s main function.

    • @Steven Soo It’s more like your card loses it’s seals and taken in water when it rains. Drives just fine, but isn’t working just fine. A watch losing it’s waterproofing isn’t simple cosmetic damage like a scratch.

  2. We all thought about doing it. Thanks for taking care of that itch. We know u can take the price tag that comes along with it.
