I work at a University. My Director makes us buy AppleCare for every device. To be honest, most computers that need repairs are out of the AppleCare warranty, or are part of a program covered by Apple (Butterfly Keyboards). Investing that money into more Apple devices would have been great.
Agreed – in warranty repairs are usually accidental damage.
