Love mine. Works great.
This device is flakey at best, and is supplied by a company in China. The US company is just a front. If you have any issues with it, you will have difficulty getting support. And if you decide you want to return it, there is a hefty restocking fee PLUS you have to ship the device back to a Chinese address at your cost.

I really wish 9 to 5 Mac had done their research with this one. Giant heads up this adapter does not play well with every CarPlay car. Everyone I have ever talk to has seen mix results, go look at YouTube and blog reviews yourself. For some it works like 9 to 5 Mac shows for some it unusable or just glitchy enough to annoy you from ever using it. Please do your research before buying this product. Returns aren’t easy and a restock fee sucks.

I order mine and it never came… I contacted support and they refused to give me back my money. After many mails exchanged they stoped answering me. So, no money, nor adapter… Do yourself a favor, don’t order this stuff. And, honestly 9to5Mac doing a sponsored video about this affects your credibility… money can’t justify everything. Credibility is your most powerful weapon… if you read the comments, you’ll see that most don’t agree with what you advertised on this video. Shame… You lost me as a subscriber
I’ve been using mine for a while without issues. Just because you had a bad experience doesn’t mean that 9to5mac lose their credibility. As for the comments/internet as a whole, I’d imagine people that have a poor experience with a product are more likely to be vocal about it online than those who enjoy them

Ali Shafai Had to change my whole head unit to Sony XAV-AX100. It’s considered an upgrade for me coz the sound quality and FM signal is much better now. I came to this video hoping to find out how well this adapter works with aftermarket unit but found nothing but discouragements from others so I will skip this and stay wired for the time being.

Don’t buy this, it’s junk. Wait a year, when Apple gets rid of the charging port next year I guarantee they’ll sell their own version of this so that CarPlay will still work. Except Apple’s version will actually work.
