Can you post the model of the SSD from the System Information? Does this have FileVault disabled? I have the exact same system, but FileVault enabled and only get 4G/sec write. Read is the same. Thank you! (Mine is Model: APPLE SSD AP2048R, Revision: 386.60.2)
Filevault enabled, Apple SSD AP2048R. Where did you see the revision number?
My raider 66 ge 6700 and read 5800
I’m getting a little bit lower numbers on my M1 Max with only the 1TB SSD. And my external SanDisk Extreme SSD gets 820MB/s write and 711MB/s read, when it’s only supposed to get 550MB/s. That’s directly connected via USB-C. For giggles I plugged the same SanDisk into an external hub with a USB-A adapter, and got speeds of 346MB/s write and 354MB/s read. The hub may have been part of the lower speed.
