  1. Wow, This Video reminds me when I dreamed want to buy Apple Mac Devices. OK, I think this product is too expensive and I can afford it.

I don’t know if Mac Devices support Microsoft Windows. Thank You, 9to5Mac team…

Hopefully, sometimes I can Buy Mac Devices…

  2. I still use and recommend your old tutorial from two years ago. It’s the best and easiest tutorial on how to do this.

  3. Me: Ok it’s time to sleep
The iDownload guy: *uploads video* Nope. It’s time to install windows on a external drive

  4. I literally watched and did the old video yesterday. If I didn’t do that. Then my experience with this would have been much easier. If only I had just waited a day lol.

  5. Logitech is the kind of ad I actually love to see. Big fan since the 90s and they consistently keep me happy

  6. Heya Jeff, thanks for the great video! It’s exactly what I’ve been finding for the last 2 days! I was just wondering does all the files get stored on the external drive (games such as rocket league)? Would I be able to take the external drive to another Mac and run windows if I have the Mac setup assistance turned off on Mac 2? Cheers

    • robotbakugan by default if you are running windows it everything will save to your external ssd. I am not exactly sure if you can take your external drive and bring it to another Mac, but I believe that would work.

  7. I love how you took the time to disable all the anti privacy features in Windows 10 setup. Thumbs up!

    • A lot of people prefer macOS and only need windows for 1 or 2 apps, or just for gaming. Why would I buy another computer just to play games on, or to use an app or two, when 95% of my work requires a Mac? This is a perfect solution for me.

    • Traveling is where this set up is very useful, means one MBP and one small SSD and a cable. Two computers in one. What you are suggesting us stupid in those circumstances, but you knew. that.

  8. Great tutorial Jeff – I’ll definitely have to give this a go! I’d be interested whether I can use the same Windows installation on an external drive to boot up on a 16″ MacBook Pro and a 2018 Mac Mini.

  9. Excellent tutorial. I’ve been doing this for years myself with a 2013 Mac pro, WintoUSB is awesome.
