Here it’s obvious how Apple is nowhere near as global a company as Google. Most of these services don’t work at all outside of the U.S. I’m no fan of Google, but I honestly like the way they launch new services and they’re pretty much immediately available everywhere.
We still have no Apple News, but I can download Google’s News onto my iPhone.
+obiora orjiako its like saying, why is huawei not selling to U.S. or why is the samsung galaxy fold only available to certain countries? Like previous people said, google is trying to get everywhere globally and use ads in your apps to make money whereas Apple doesn’t.

+obiora orjiako again, you dont have to have specific app. It depends where you stay. If you have an apple device and a specific app is available in your country apple will not show ads on those available apps. Apple news is only available in 2 countries so far with rest coming at the end of this year.
+blad90 Honestly I do not own any apple products , nevertheless , what I have comprehended from reading this comment thread, is that it is not a given that apple will make all of its services available to all iPhone users .Which is ironic given that one of apples main advantage over Android, is its ability to provide its software service(updates and security patches) globally to a large percentage of active iPhone users.
+obiora orjiako i don’t know which iphones will receive these features. Most likely ones who run the latest iOS 12, which is supported in devices up to 6 years old, so that would be iPhone 5 onwards. Of course no company is going to support every single device due to hardware limitations. But Apple evidently is better than android for software support and always has been.
