So happy they’ve finally re-added that battery percentage without having to scroll the notfication centre down
The new battery icon is just dumb. The icon stays full, only the number changes. Thats kind of weird. I prefer the green icon which gives me an estimate and when I need to know for sure I can pull down the menu. No biggie. I think it’s more elegant that way.
There is a music bug in ios16 if you play music with full album art view and swipe down to lock screen view then volume bar won’t show up when you change volume can you confirm if it’s solved in 16.1.
@Bertl Zansinger hmm I see how long before you think it’s solved off all the bugs this one is the most annoying so far.
3:30 This setting just hides the Live Activity or Widget behind FaceID, requiring you to unlock the phone before viewing them. It doesn’t completely turn them off.
Thought exactly the same.
Does 16.1 fix the AirDrop issue? Since iOS 16 it doesn’t use the U1 chip anymore 🙁
I noticed that there is a new tab in the settings for matter accessories meaning there is going to be some updates to Apple home finally
4:53 The top menu is still very hard to reach on the bigger screens (one handed)… would actually love to see the focus more to the bottom (there is the swipe down, I know…)
You’re already reaching that part to tap “Done” so I don’t see how it’s an issue to have the menu at the same place. A solution would be to move the button itself on the lower area.
You’re already tapping done which is at the top of the screen… if anything this makes it more convenient. If the screen is too big for you buy a smaller phone?
There is a BUG with the switch for Live Activities under Settings -> TV, like you show on your phone. You can turn it on, yes. However, once you do anything else on phone, like go into another setting or exit out of settings app it turns back off. You have to go in and turn it on again and it just turns off by itself. Most surely a bug that needs to be fixed
I still wait for a volume mixer settings to listen to Spotify. And be on call and adjust which one i want louder
Ios 16.1 Public beta is available
Love it so much
It’s very buggy! After a while of use, you can’t swipe to see the App Library. Also, if you have multiple apps in a folder, you can’t swipe to see the others. Have to click on the dots to move it. Have to restart to be able to swipe again.
Huge issue with my 14pro on 16.1! Location services are completely unavailable and gps’ have all become unusable.
have you had any issues with bricking when updating? Also if you run across issues, is it simple to go back to Official build without having to reinstall or restoring from iCloud?
Im using beta 16.1 on my old ipad and it’s running smoothly as they stated, i only updated 15.7 on iphone pro 13 as i heard bad things on 16.0 so hence why I’m testing it all out on the spare ipad until then I’ll wait for 16.1 hopefully it will come sooner so i can fully upgrade to 16
I’m running IO16 on my 13 Pro Max and it’s been great. Saw an improvement on battery life surprisingly.
I have also read mixed reviews. I think a few people solved the battery drain by backing up their phone and doing a restore from backup.
Finding that if you have app groupings, that span several pages, it doesn’t let you scroll past the first page of them. I have sent feedback. Hopefully that is fixed soon.
