  1. It’s crazy how much iPad software have changed since it first came out. Good luck to everyone.

    • After being relatively stagnant for the first 5 major OS releases or so, indeed, the iPad is finally venturing out to carve its own unique path. I couldn’t be happier with this direction.

    • @9to5Mac True indeed, the way iPad has transformed into it is obvious that it require it’s own independent OS so that a lot could be developed for iPad. Btw I’m looking forward for your WatchOS and if possible make a vid on tvOS cuz why leave it alone, and love your work, keep it up.

  2. What do you all think about Widgets in iPadOS 14? I have to say, it’s a little meh. All that space and…yeah…

    • It is too simple. Remind me of android widgets of some years ago. I hope that this time almost every app could have a widget.

    • If you go to Settings > Home Screen > Check “More”, then when it’s landscape the widgets are shown without swiping them in.

  3. What I don‘t ilke about the small widgets is, that it is 50% empty space. Look for excample the weather and calendar widgets. Very little informations are shown.

    • Yeah, Widgets on iPad are mediocre at best. They’re basically just gimped iPhone widgets at this point. But it is a beta, so hopefully it will change in the future. Maybe iPadOS 15.

    • I had to turn it off, its just to annoying. I use the Pencil sometimes as mouse or finger replacement, and the keyboard is going freaky when scribble is turned on. Also a lot of Art Apps, doesn’t work anymore cause scribble is in the front and you cant paint with the apps brushes anymore. Hope they fix that.

  4. I’ll be impressed with the Notes functionality when they allow you to combine/overlay typed text and handwritten text or drawings. For example being able to draw that square or heart and then put text inside. It’s a simple feature that many other note taking apps already have.

  5. Appreciate the video. Apart from scribble, I haven’t really noticed anything on iPadOS that would really reinvent the way I do things. I suppose developers will need time to update their apps for widgets, and I find my iPad Pro running smoother on iOS 14, but otherwise, nothing really new here for me.

  6. Can someone please explain how to open two Music app windows in Split View? I read the article on 9to5Mac some weeks ago that show the feature but I have never really able to replicate that…

  7. Although impressive a lot of the scribble features have been on the Nebo app for ages and it does it better with more features.

I wish apple would just buy that company and implement that.

  8. Thank you for your awesome videos! I’m running beta on my iPad Pro, it’s a 2018 model. Under the widgets are apps that I do not want there. I cannot figure out how to remove the apps that are showing up under my widgets. There were 3, (one of the apps I just deleted), they just populated when I uploaded the beta,
any suggestions?? I hope I hope I hope!
