Macworld editor Karen Haslam and iPad & iPhone User editor David Price were up at the crack of dawn this morning to catch the crowds of fans queuing outside the London Apple Stores to buy an iPhone 4S.
We spoke to Craig Fox and Daniel James, who had queued outside the Regent Street store for 160 hours. They held the first and second place positions outside the store.
Over at the Covent Garden store we spoke to Rob Shoesmith, who had been waiting outside for ten days. Shoesmith spoke to us about what it was like to find out about the death of Steve Jobs while camping outside the store. "I found out about half four in the morning when the tributes started coming in," he told us, "it was not very nice news at all".
