26 Comments on iPhone Boot Test: 16GB iPhone 6 Plus vs. 128GB iPhone 6 Plus

  1. It’s because the 128GB iPhone uses a TLC NAND flash memory and the 16GB iPhone uses an MLC NAND flash memory.
Easily said, TLC is much cheaper and slower than MLC.
And Apple is asking so much more dollar$ for the 128MB iPhone, which I think exactly shows how Apple thinks of their loyal customers.

  2. after loading all my stuff onto my 64 gig 6 plus, and jailbreaking and adding tweaks (half speed tweaks), it booted in 20 secs.

  3. Do you mean the larger the capacity the iPhone 6 plus is, the slower the speed it is? Since I purchased an iPhone 6 plus 64GB and I found that the speed of turning on and photo burst is a bit slower than the iPhone 6 plus that I saw in Youtube.

  4. This lag is observed only in the boot or opening applications, taking pictures, gaming etc too? I just bought a 128gb 6s = ‘(
