What speed test app are you using?
I played with the new iPhones at the Apple store the other day and they were lightning fast.
Don’t think I trust this, it doesn’t show it connects the same wifi device and the wifi supports ac
My WiFi router is a nice Asus one, but it’s only a 802.11 n, and I’ve noticed FAR better speed on WiFi from my iPhone 6 Plus compared to my iPhone 5S. I can hardly wait until I get an 802.11ac router to see if it gets even better. (I do pay for pretty fast WiFi from Time Warner, I think I’m supposed to get up to 100mbps from them.) But my new 6 is definitely way faster than my 5S was.
ac and n has no difference in your daily life unless your broadband is faster than that
If this test is done under equal terms, Apple come a long way in this issue.
this the test of inbuilt wifi receiver. your wifi speed will depend on your internet provider etc.
This will be useful when Comcast and AT&T considers that we want those types of speeds for internet at home. Last I heard 3 Megabit was enough?

ALL OF YOU RETARDS THAT TALKING ABOUT ISP PROVIDERS SPEED AND STUFF – this test was checking the inside router speed capabilities !!!! The inside private wifi network! Not the internet speed! God help us all…
What’s the name of the app?!?!?!
Test please iPad Air 2 Vs iPhone 6/plus ??
It matters little that in theory the 6 can do more than 100Mp. In reality the wifi at home and on the road is slower. Most comcast is 50 to 90megabit.
So you wont really be using much more than a 5 can do wi fi wise.
I have a 6 and 5 and they both get 90mb/sec in my house and feel around the same surfing. Sure i can cherry pick tests. I prefer the 5 over the 6, the 6 is too bulky and bends easy.
