Can you use it at all vertically? I know this isn’t advertised by Apple, but I know the magnetic component is strong.
Theocritus If you mean keeping the Magic Keyboard in its normal orientation while using the iPad Pro vertically, the answer is essentially no. The magnets are not in the right place to do that. The magnetic connection is extremely strong in its intended orientation though.
Recently I have been interested in getting an iPad Pro as well as the magic keyboard with it. I was wondering if you think that the 11” version feels too ‘cramp’ to type on?
It is a little bit, but I’m willing to put up with it due to the portability.
I just got my Logitech Combo Touch for the Air 3. It really is a great product that is a better value than any of these pro keyboards from Apple. Either way, they’re all great accessories.
Got to agree, that is a top quality case which is exceptional value. The Magic Keyboard is a great item, but the price was hard to swallow when I was ordering…

I’m looking forward to what Logitech will make for this iPad. Their keyboards are so much better. As a daily user of one, I use the top shortcut keys alot, especially the brightness and volume control. The “smart” connector is anything but. I can’t believe the USB port on the side is power only, and slow power at that. Struggling to open it is embarrassing, as is the polyurethane construction. Such a complicated hinge system in order to eliminate the need for a kickstand. Whatevs. Superior video as always, and your mom says hi and thank you.

Tip for opening the Magic Keyboard: Pull the bottom down, don’t pull the top up.

Did you test the apparent “drop in efficiency of charge” MKBHD seemed to say he saw no drop in charge time through the smart connector and you don’t seem to back it up with any charge times ?
