I would love to use my new M2 iPad Pro for all sorts of things, but its complete unreliability with staying connected to wifi makes it entirely unusable and nothing more than a $2000 paper weight.
The only thing I find that ipad notes does that mac os notes can’t do is allow you to handwrite. I wish apple would let you change the page size so that then the page with is reached you can extend it. I find apple notes is just supper easy to work with and syncs the best out ot every not app I have used.
I’ve been using notes for a long time, maybe since the iPhone 5. Never, have I noticed or used any of the features that you showed. So, thanks! I can see several of those being useful now that I know they’re there.
I would love to see Apple Watch integration with Apple Notes. I would love to dictate a quick note on my Apple Watch and have it sync with the main apple notes app on my other devices.
I want a real text toolbar. I don’t want to drill down into menus to edit a document. Changing text size should be easier too, my eyes are getting older and 10pt font is just too small sometimes. Command+ works but a notes app should have a basic edit toolbar.
Almost all will work on iOS.

Notes was my daily notes driver since the very start. However after iOS 13 or 14 update, it’s almost unusable. The auto sync with the cloud seems to happen every second and freezes/ lags the notes app every second. It’s really impossible to get anything done on it. Maybe I have too many notes (150+) or maybe some of my notes are too long (though it also happens to new and short notes), but it’s impossible to use. I wonder if anyone else has this same issue. I’m on the latest version of iOS (not beta) and on iPhone 14 pro max.
I have an issue where if my handwritten note gets too long the pen marks start to lag behind very noticeably. Additionally I’ve already lost a note. I added a photo in it and wrote on it and next thing you know next time I opened up the note the note opens up blank even thought I can “see” the content inside in the preview before I open it. It really sucks. I’ve also heard that the same thing of the laggy pencil marks happens in Freeform too in king hand written free forms.

Colors need different colors for different notes
Hi, can you make a video how to setup a mouse correctly for the iPad, i tried but it acts kind of weird in some situations.

I just wish apple notes supported different font colours like my Samsung notes does. Having different font colours breaking up different notes really helps
Note into PDF: What also works is to choose print and do a zoom out gesture on the preview. It shows a pdf preview that you can save. (This works system-wide btw for all apps that can print content, like ‘the save to pdf’ in the print dialog on a Mac).
I use apple notes only and I had no idea that I could change to PDF and mark up. That was awesome to learn. Thanks for that tip
