Not really. It’s been neutered in many aspects. For instance, there is no more pop and peek functionality and putting pressure on home icons will no longer respond accordingly like it did in iOS 12. Apple’s mentally preparing its older user base for its new generation of phones without it.
Been waiting for the control center toggle for dark mode since dark mode was released

If USB C is stopping you from getting an iPhone, by all means go ahead and buy an Android phone now. Also, stop shouting, you weirdo.
Can you backup directly to an external drive (SSD/USB) or do you still need to go through iTunes .
