  1. I had the a5000 and ended up returning it. It was too heavy for vlogging,
and I didn’t like the menu system. The quality was great though!. I’m
shocked that they didn’t have the selfie flip up screen though… why
    remove that?

    • +Melissa and Alex The bigger body sony alpha cameras such as the a6000 line
and a7 line have the electronic viewfinder which blocks the screen from
flipping up. The a5100 has the flip up screen

  2. I don’t like these new videos in which Jeff gets to show off his
handy-dandy new gadgets that I can’t even afford

  3. You really should’ve mentioned the rolling shutter when shooting
    4K…nonetheless, great camera.

    • There are negatives to be said about any camera no matter how high the
price. This was not a full review of the camera, it was just the reviewers
quick thoughts. Perhaps in the short video he needs to only focus on the
good things? Must the world use YouTube to throw shade on everything?

    • +Anthony Maiorani showing how it records a moving object as he talks about
      bitrate shortly after

  4. iMovie on iOS probably can’t deal with this camera’s video because it
requires mp4 H.264 video. The chance is real that this camera doesn’t
    provide that.

  5. Is he really comparing it with an iPhone? The A6300 is not a perfect
camera, but it’s one of the most compact and powerful cameras out in the
market which could actually challenge the top level DSLRs.
