If Apple decides for the next generation to (1) include a USB 3.0 port (or at least another USB-C port), (2) improve the CPU, and (3) upgrade the 480p camera, then I might consider buying it. I really hope this first version is just a beta test, a prototype, and the next version will improve the shortcomings that this machine currently has.

yeah there is. Portability. some people don’t need so much power and all they need is a light laptop. for work. people with money will buy it. +Thrillseeker8922 you would be better off buying a macbook pro 13″
The MacBook Air is strong on portability as well. It’s been one of its strongest features, along with the battery life.

I think MacBook pro 2015 is a better computer, you are not going to carry your MacBook outside anyway would you? on a daily basis anyway it’s gonna stay at home. if you want portable get an iphone.
Can we get a macbook/pro/air accessories video? Which cases are the best? What are some decals I can get? What accessories does apple sell? I don’t know if you take any requests but I’m in the market for some, and i’m sure many are also in the market for some as well. I would also like to request accessories for the apple watch if made possible, thank you very much fr reading this. Loved the video 🙂

The question is why it didn’t come with an adapter? I haven’t seen a single usbc device except this macbook 2015, it’s obvious they are greedy business people but this is too far I think. cheers

Is it safe to say that the new MacBook Pro retina will be supported with new software for at least 5 yrs? And the Mac could potentially last a lot longer than if taken care of? I’m thinking about a purchase… Thanks
+Landon Watson I bought my MBP 13″ almost 4 years ago. No issues until recently (some minor issues which are probably related to the SSD I installed myself might have popped up). Still got about 3 hours 30 of battery life left (I started out with a big 4 hours back then so that’s actually very good). Softwarewise I see no reason why it wouldn’t be supported. If you don’t game it’s future proof. IMO for non-gamers at a certain point keyboard, screen and trackpad are more important than incrementally better specs and that’s where the MBP shines.
