I already got mine for 1200 with studio 3s so I better not regret it from watching this vid
@Noah Boock yeah I always would like to build a desktop pc to personalize it to my specifications but I’m shure it may cost alot.
chris johnson For a good one, it would probably be around $600-700 with the prime day deals. I haven’t been following PC components recently but from what I know, they’re getting better for less price
chris johnson The professor os an i5 but last years model so I’m other words, this years desktop version i3. The main reason people use Mac OS is because the speed and simplicity of how it runs.
@Noah Boock interesting I will keep that in mind.
What ya’ll think about this new machine? It’s a decent little laptop imo. This is a great entry level product, but the GPU is obviously a big bottleneck.
Decent? $1300.00 USD for core i5/128GB/8GB ram? This shouldn’t cost you more than $1000 and that’s already expensive. At least give me a core i7, 16GB and 256GB, that’s an entry level macbook PRO.
@victor hernandez I know right I agree with you, people are too hyper about this laptop.
Entry level should be $400 in 2019
Hell even $300
@chris johnson how old are you?
I want to buy a new Macbook Pro, but won’t as long as that butterfly keyboard exists. The price is pretty good, considering my 2004 iBook featuring wifi launched at the same price LOL.
apple has decided to remove the butterfly keyboard and switch to the scissor version
so maybe wait
probably the best priced for now
other than the 329 dollar ipad
i second this
Naveen Talla it’s 250 on amazon
Great machine for sure. Im currently using my Late 2013 Retina MacBook pro on the daily, i love all the ports and smooth OS functionality 6 years later.
So the base model is about 70% faster than a late 2012 mac mini. Interesting.
The Touch bar was the worst addition apple has made to any device ever. No one wants to take their finger off the keyboard to focus on the ever changing soft keys. The flat part of the laptop is the tactile area. If it is not tactile, it doesn’t go here. My $0.02.
That little bit at the end was clever
i like the touch bar
‘No one wants to take their finger off the keyboard’,but you all keep bragging about the screen being not touchscreen.
@Mark Rids that is a different function all together. you take your hand off the kb to scroll or move the cursor. you have to do it now whether it is the trackpad or touchscreen
until they change the keyboard, then no.
I don’t know how Apple finds the Touchbar so useful when they themselves took out the “Update” button displayed on it when accessing the Mac AppStore and you have updates available. They, for some reason, removed this.
Apple logic.
That Touch Bar is the biggest rip off. Apple rather sell you a shiny bar rather than SSD storage. 128GBs is very pro
i like the touch bar provides extra functionality for me and i if u use bettertouchtool its even better
This was a shock for me. And, I am glad Apple shocked me.
Thank you for the review, Benjamin.
I appreciate you. The video aligns perfectly with the notch in my XS Max. Just thought I’d thank you for that. Even if it wasn’t intentional.
So yeah
lol same only some videos go perfectly without the notch being over the video
I wonder if apps and games will run smooth on the next Mac software update without a EGPU
The touchbar is just a partial touchscreen design that lacks the full touchscreen functionality…
I don’t know if you really want the touch screen though. When the laptop starts to get old, you can start experiencing ghosting. It’s annoying as hell.
Honestly I would go with the iPad pro and get some accesories
I won’t be buying one until apple replace the butterfly keyboard
Which has a faster SSD? The 13inch 2019 baseline macbook pro or a 13 inch nontouchbar 2017 macbook pro?
How long do I have to wait for the new keyboard version?
Keyboard might probably get an actual solid replacement next year
I use MacBook pro 2017 for 2 years and i have no problems with it
