2. Are iMac’s still viable? I’ve been thinking about getting one.

   • Oh and please don’t buy the dual core model.

   • Mene Man duly noted. I have a surface pro 6 and an iPad Pro (2018). I’m in the Apple ecosystem and I’d like a desktop.

   • They are still great desktop machines. But they are due for an update soon so I wouldn’t buy one just yet.

   • Yes, but don’t buy the base model 21″ iMac, 1080p display with a Dual Core 7th gen CPU and Spinning Drive is simply a slap in the face where 2011 wants it’s hardware back, buy at least the $1,499 Model with an SSD

   • Apples gonna refresh the iMac soon to a base 23 inch.
     I’d say wait

5. Apple needs to redesign the MacBooks. Dell is killing it with the XPS.

   • I agree. Great design but it’s time for a more modern look…

   • true the bezels are too large

   • design wise macbooks still are the best especially with the build quality, they have that “timeless” feel to it. the only thing that macbooks need to upgrade is their display (minimize the bezel and with better display), and their stupidly low quality webcam. they should put the iphone or ipad front facing cam internals into their webcams in the macbooks lol

7. While the Magic Keyboard is great, I just feel it’s silly to be praising Apple for fixing something that never should have been altered to begin with. The butterfly keyboard, while I personally had no issues with it, was a classic case of a solution looking for a problem, or fixing something that wasn’t broken. It’s great the Magic Keyboard is back, but it never should have been “back” to begin with. it should have just always been there. But hey, it’s here now and that’s what’s important.

   • It’s here now but whats Apple’s strategy for the Butterfly keyboards Macs that still exist? The keyboard repair program will only go so far, hopefully Apple has an upgrade route for those who have been dealing with replacements since 2016.

13. Was waiting for new 13/14. Checked out what they made and bought 16″ 🙂 Feels like a very minor refresh compared to what they did with 15->16.

14. Last week I got my keyboard replaced (2018 model), which included upper bodye and bateries…not very sustainable dear apple! I hope my “refurbished” MacBook will last long … fortunately there is the good old keyboard again. What took them so long?

15. Will a 13” Macbook Pro with the last highest specs be good for my electrical engineering major?

18. Great video, one correction though, it’s not true that the 10th gen processor on the air is faster than the 8th gen processor on the lower end macbook pro. Sure it’s from an older generation but the air uses lower wattage Y-series processors that are still slower overall.
