My posts and gear:

Way better than what iDB posted today.
Cool set up. You are in the huge minority using the new MacBook as primary
device (I also will switch from my 15 rMBP on second gen)
Add me to your list. I love my MacBook and use it way more often than my
MBPs or iMacs. Lovely machine, no fans at all (like that the most!),
lightweight, powerful enough for almost all the daily tasks.
Also w Mark Gurman leaving I hope you get more spotlights. I really enjoy
these YouTube vids.
iDB is not the same without you! Lol
Hey Jeff! I was wondering if you would do everything on your macbook, it
seems not that powerful to me, maybe I just under estimate it. Also, it
would be nice to make a video using an eGPU.
I do everything on it. It’s not always fast, but generally speaking it’s
adequate enough. For normal browsing it’s perfect, but using effects in
Final Cut Pro X can be noticeably taxing. It’s a balancing act, but
certainly exceeds my expectations as to its power.
what is your video shooting camera?
I use a Sony RX100M4: http://amzn.to/1t7P4Ts Pretty much my favorite camera
of all time. It’s so tiny, yet it’s a powerhouse. It has limitations, it
can only shoot 4K for 5 minute bursts, but that works great for my shooting
style. It won’t work for everyone. That said, this camera features so many
features stuffed inside this minuscule body that it’s ridiculous. This is
my favorite camera of all time, and I got rid of my GH4 because of it.
people these days love Canon G7X, what do you think about this cam?
Thanks, good video!
Wait! Which podcast are you recording?
Love everything! Boom arm is sweet but that yellow mic screen kills me.
Lol. Overall looking clean!
Jeff, try Status Audio CB-1.
Jeff, how do you do those smooth camera movements in your video? Manually?
Or do you have special equipment? Thx!
Great setup and overview!
Nice setup I subscribed to see more 😉 perhaps show us your vid recording
setup ;-)
2:50 I really like your Apple Watch stand, where did you get it from? Can’t
seem to find it easily, very sharp with your desk setup.
+Tim Wells search iDB, I did a review there. I honestly can’t remember the
name
like for Jeff!!
+mark yeah!
Nice !
How’s the anti-glare coating on this monitor compared to other recent matte
ips screens? This monitor fits my needs perfectly but I read the coating
was aggravating, especially on white pages.
+GiantPizzaSunset it’s extremely strong
Hey Jeff- did you happen to compare the Kantus with NXG by any chance? Some
are saying the NXGs win out on sound so I was curious if you had any
input…
What do you use to capture the moving shots? (i.e. at the :20s)? Do you
have a dolly and track, or just a very steady hand?
