Much love 9to5Mac love you ❤️❤️
I want a Magic Keyboard with the W1 chip.
W1 chip only works with audio, W2 chip will most likely introduce support for external inputs like mouses and keyboards.
Mystical Keyboard
iTrebor we hope
Whenever you connect the Magic Keyboard to any Mac via a Lightning Cable, it pairs automatically. Not sure why the Bluetooth discovery via iOS is iffy.
buy the logitech k470 way cheaper and can be a stand with the slot included.
I have one, and now I want to get rid of it…it’s so bad…
TRENDING NA KAPIT NA It is cheaper, but not in the same level. Have had one – also hate the “slim” cases that are anything but…
But with the Smart Keyboard, I have it always with me – I’m not carrying the magic keyboard around everywhere!
Just buy Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard…
thumbs up for Empire of the Sun 🙂
Omar Sharif I saw that too. Walking on a Dream 🙂

Ok Jeff, during the whole video you were saying: The Magic Keyboard is Better.
I’ve been using a Magic Keyboard with my iPad Pro for the past year. One advantage you didn’t mention is you can put the Magic Keyboard on your lap or table and elevate your iPad using a iPad stand to work more like a desktop computer monitor. I prefer working this way the best as I don’t have to look down so much and relieves stress on my neck. You can’t do that with the Smart Keyboard. Plus when I’m not using the iPad Pro for work and just want to watch a movie I can plop on my couch with just the iPad and simple cover instead of the extra bulk of the Smart Keyboard. Using an external keyboard wins in my book.
I feel good when I typing on magic keyboard
The best part about the Smart Keyboard is that it folds away to the back of the iPad when you don‘t need it, and then is like a Smart Cover. You can easily use the two different stand modes while the keyboard is chilling on the back of the iPad and when you actually need to type, you fold it open.
why you not introduce beta8 ios 11?still waiting…
I bought a magic keyboard and is better. But is not to portable.
If you’re looking at the Magic Keyboard, I say consider the Logitech K380. It’s the same size, has shortcut keys, doesn’t need charging (its batteries last months), and you can connect it to 3 different devices without any re-paring. Also it’s $30.
If you choose the magic keyboard, get ready to carry your iPad stand when you go portable.
@9to5Mac I purchased the magic keyboard from amazon refurbished for $35 and a new leather case for my iPad 10.5 from pad&quill for $85.
For my personal needs this is perfect, stylish cover that protects my iPad completely (not just the screen like the Smart Keyboard) for the amount of time that I plan on using the keyboard (10-20%) it was money well spent no need to pay $99.
Get a lot of compliments on my leather case and keyboard setup when using both. I am using my MBP13 w/retina less and less with this setup. Truly recommend.
Highly recommend the Logitech keyboard case for iPad Pro
Magic Keyboard helps me type faster and more accurate. Just throw it in my backpack to school, don’t worry about anything
it is funny when you say the smart keyboard is not a bad product but the typing experience is better on the magic keyboard…given that typing is what you buy a keyboard for that makes the magic a way way better product! I have been using it for months and it’s hands down the best keyboard i have EVER used!
Besides, 150 USD for a keyboard functionning on only ONE product? really? only ONE typing angle?? really ?
The pairing is quick, design fantastic, and the comfort! if you wanna use a keyboard with an ipad just pair this one instead of wasting money on that Microsoft cover inspired piece of trash…you also get to adjust the screen proximity, typing angle, and above all, can use the ipad horizontally or…VERTICALLY !
I prefer the REAL keyboard? I don’t think that’s subjective 😛
