Here we highlight the then reasons why we love the iMac, and one reason why we don't. From the fact that Apple has fitted so much power in side the thin screen, to the beautiful design and the super fast graphics, along with everything that comes with OS X and the other services from Apple.
I just wish they would make their mice more comfortable to use.

and gives anyone without a tiny hand cramps and the mighty mouse is just
awkward, also lack of right mouse button also sucks

Costs so much ? In 1984 my dad bought me a Apple IIe – invoice was about
$2400 after adding up all the extras not including software that you
actually had to buy along with printers, graphics cards, modems, sound
cards. My dad was not rich. What is $2400 in 1984 dollars ? I don’t
know but WAY more than what you would be paying for an iMac these days.
Pivotal decision to go with Apple in the early 80’s…launched me into a
very successful career (26 years in IS). Apple inspired me to ‘Think
different’. Thx dad. Go buy a MAC and be inspired.
I base my computer purchase choices solely on the way it looks on my desk

I use PCs and part of the reason why I bought the monitor I have is because
it looks so nice on my desk, not gonna lie. I really don’t think it’s such
a bad thing to buy something partially because it looks nice. Though, if
that’s the main reason you purchase something, you should reconsider.
I purchased the new IMac because I really don’t think my kid really needs
braces . His teeth look fine to me.

It’s been 8 years since i switched from a pc to a mac and i haven’t looked
back i currently own the late 2012 27″ i mac 2.9 ghz. I also upgraded my
ram to 16 a while back. I also recently added macbook pro 13.3 inch retina
display to my collection. Now i use my i mac as a thunderbolt display while
in target display mode for my mac book pro retina display extend my
real-estate drag and drop from screen to screen. I can also use it as a
desktop while in clamshell mode.

The only problem the iMac has, is it’s not very portable. Omg, it’s not a
portable computer, it’s a desktop computer, and for a desktop computer,
it’s portability is the best !! If you had a proper computer, go carry the
monitor, the tower, the speakers ! Omg !
Well, a regular peasant like you carries a basic pleb tower. Not a Full ATX
Tower with $1,500 of parts like an actual computer user such as myself.
Fear not plebian, your tower weighs nothing.
I’m only saying because people nowdays are never pleased! They will always
find something not to like, even if it’s stupid like the iMac portability!

LOL… “add on the price of a monitor to a cheaper PC”… no… it’s still
bad, the iMac is significantly more expensive. I’m considering one, but
the reason I don’t already have one is because of how ridiculously,
outrageously expensive they are. I have to weigh the added cost against
the value, which is NOT hardware performance. I will say I like some of
the hardware design, but a company charging $600 to install $200 worth of
ram, when the least tech savvy can do it in less than 60 seconds, I find
incredibly distasteful.
Anyway, Developers want the easiest path to profitability, which means
developing for a half dozen Apple products (being released intermittently)
instead of hundreds of possible Windows configurations (being released
constantly). That is the appeal of Apple products, it’s less work for
Developers to play there. That means, generally, better software than you
typically find on Windows.
I’m asking myself if I would spend a couple thousand dollars extra to use a
handful of apps on Apple costing less than a couple hundred bucks, just to
[hopefully] break my unwanted dependency on Adobe software. I’m asking
myself if I want to spend ANOTHER $3000 to $4000 in a few years on a whole
new system or spend a few hundred bucks upgrading a couple components on my
PC. I’m wondering if I want to deal with all that and the learning curve
of getting familiar with an iMac.
Also, I like games.
If I was to buy an IMAC would I be able to install Utorrent Application for
downloading

the late 2013. So you got an awesome deal. Enjoy it.

had it just kept it in a room for a few weeks and barely used it. Shortly
later, they went bankrupt, so they sold it. So I got a pretty much
good-as-new iMac at 60% off.
