you are already doing that today on your phone, mail message and facebook while driving.
Wow, nice prediction, not realizing there will be more control to reduce accidents. Anything apple is innovation, whatever you do with your phone you can use Siri to do which means you don’t take your eyes off the road.

I really like the sound of this feature, but until it becomes more widely available I’ll continue using “Harken For iPhone” in the car. It’s much easier to use than Apple’s music player (bigger text, large buttons/touch areas). There’s also “Harken” on the iPad but I need a new cradle for my iPad so I can’t use it at the moment.

So basically it’s an iPad build in dashboard connected with standard cable to the rest of the car. That would be great. If something happens, just replace the iPad.
Except the home button is on the screen and the power comes from the car and the screen may not have the same size.
Dang it, why isnt Toyota signed on for CarPlay yet?!!!
