Hands on: opens Safari. Ok, get out.
German empire flag, opinion discarded
@Rythna As if you would know history if the whole tome fell on you.
14″ M2 Max or 16″ M2 pro, can’t decided?
It’s all about pros and cons. If you’d rather have a bigger screen and bigger battery rather than a faster and even more future proof machine, go for the 16”. If the contrary is true, go for the 14”!
Yup. It’s a tough choice dependent entirely on what your specific needs & use cases are.
I think you should go to the apple store and use both for a while. I have a 13” non-M1/M2 macbook right now and like the size, so think I’d go for a 14-incher. But I’ll go to the store just to be sure considering these are $3000+ in my country.
I know apples laptop market is for students, every day internet browsing, video editors/makers. But man, I really wish they would invest into making GAMING GPUS that could compete with nvidia, AMD, and now intel. I know the margins aren’t that great on GPUS. But IMAGINE the money apple would make on a desktop computer that could game at high levels, or special edition laptops that could run games. Apple would never outsource this to another company, as we seen they are now making their own silicon instead of intel now. But it would justify the expensive price of these Apple Desktops.
A Cool video idea for you guys would be ” what if apple were to make a gaming computer”
It’s not so far fetched as apple is rumored to be making a car so, they definitely can make a gaming computer or have a new M2 turbo edition chip or something.
Interesting idea! The GPU performance on Macs keeps getting better as Apple is improving their SoCs and adding more cores, so I definitely understand where you’re coming from. One of the problems is the lack of support for MacOS from game developers. Apple was definitely pushing Metal 3 at one of their previous events, so hopefully more devs. explore adding support!
Apple has a track record of moving in to new business niches, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the surprised everyone with a product that eats Nvidia, AMD, and Intel’s lunch.
No offense, but I’d appreciate it very much if this video showed more footage of the product in question instead of the person unless they are either super handsome or gorgeous.
Ya I noticed the same. Maybe instead of talking head shots. The MacBook should still be in frame like on a table or something.
@Leo Robles I can’t help but wonder why there are so many vloggers out there who show themselves throughout the entire video which is supposed to be all about the product.
The gaming Apple computer vouch still lives. I am actually more excited now because of the hdmi update.
Please help me . I sold my 3070 ti gaming pc few days ago just because currently I need portability. Is it wise to buy the base MacBook pro m2 pro 2023 ? I am planning to buy this one ! To be honest, I can not afford more than that !
Also, I heard m1 pro is better ssd speed but does this speed matter since it has 16 gb ram and also higher cache in cpu ?
Please help me . I am a CSE student.
My purpose is coding , algorithms, balender etc I mean everything related for the cse student .
If you’re fine with not being able to play many games, then get an M2 MBP. Although, if you’re on a tight budget, you may be able to find an M1 Pro or Max at a discounted price now that the M2s are out, and they perform nearly as well for most tasks.
@Red Pill Satori I have a budget to buy the m2 pro MacBook pro 2023 base version 10 core and 16 core with 512 gb ssd .
I live in Bangladesh here everything is way more overpriced.
My new MacBook M2 Pro has exceeded all my expectations. The speed and responsiveness are unmatched by any other laptop I’ve owned before. The powerful 10th-generation Intel Core processor makes multitasking a breeze. And did you know that the MacBook M2 Pro has a long battery life of up to 18 hours, allowing you to work all day without needing to plug it in. If you want to see my first impressions, you can check out my unboxing video on my channel.
Hi! I am interested in buying this model only with a larger storage capacity. my question is: are 16GB of ram enough for 4K video editing? or I need to update to 32 gb? Thank you and really appreciate for your answer!
+1 because I’m in the same boat
It really depends. Final Cut Pro and hardware acceleration do a ton to make 4k video editing a good experience on the base model. As you continue to upgrade RAM there will be advantages, especially as you add more effects and different video codecs, but the specifics of the footage you’re working with and the types of editing you’re doing will make a big difference.
does the card slot read cfexpress type A?
I consider putting a pointless, ugly, massive notch in a laptop display to be a plain dickish move on Apple’s part. They can be very anti-consumer with their design choices, such as when they forced the touchbar and butterfly key switches on users, and this is yet another example of that.
I do not see any value in replicating Apple presentation with macbook specs. I did not get any new information from your video, sorry.
Does the base 16 inch Pro also has the slower SSD like the 14 inch?
