macOS 10.14 Mojave, scheduled to be released this fall, has lots of new features. This walkthrough showcases five of the features that stand out to me the most, including Stacks, a handy way to organize files on the desktop; Safari Favicons, making it easier to identify tabs while browsing; Dark Mode, much deeper than it may seem on the surface; the Home app, control HomeKit devices from the Mac and Siri on Mac; and a brand new redesigned Mac App Store. Macos 10.14 is mega poor no airplay 2 dark mode looks to dark mail etc looks wack and mac store is rubbish anyways no one uses it needs airplay 2, hmmmm nothing about 10.14 is stand out dark mode is a gimmick and its better having normal mode with dark wallpaper, apple could of done so much more but nope
Dark mode is really handy. I find myself struggle a lot when helping someone on his Mac that doesn’t have Mojave installed and Dark Mode enabled. And, how exactly can a Dark Mode be too dark? I would understand if you would say that there isn’t enough contrast on the UI (like it is the case with FCPX IMO). But you didn’t.

My favourite feature of the betas are when my apps crash all the time lol Seriously don’t be dumb like me and put a beta on a daily driver. Mojave hasn’t given me too many problems though I should say… More iOS 12.

FYVE sure. For every software release, there are stages/cycles. In it’s early stages it’s called Alpha, then beta. Beta is usually when a software works but not yet fully tested. A beta software is not advisable for the end user and is many used by other developers so that they can update their codes to support the new OS. So apps crashing is expected.
so this took apple a whole year since the last os release to develop ?

hope apple could add an option in the future that be able to activate dark mod automatically along with night shift
If you set the desktop background to the dynamic Mojave wallpaper, and set night shift to automatic (sunset to sunrise) it will. This will only be automatic at night, of course.
About the dark mode shadow: This is because the background color changing. The shadow used a Alpha value and is the exact same in light and dark mode..
Home app is the only thing that is interesting to me.

Dark mode is considered a flagship feature. Really? A visual change feature? Heck, Stacks is more progressive than Dark Mode. Why are macOS users so happy on mediocre feature – all of these features listed should not require a massive OS upgrade for some minor changes. This thing (macOS) is still a dinosaur compared to all the other commercial and non-commercial operating systems. Guess I will renew my Parallels subscription.
….. and Homekit support now only available on macOS after all these years. Better late then never I guess.

I appreciate the detail you went into when analyzing the effort Apple put into the dark mode. Apple often puts tremendous effort into things, and very few people notice. I really enjoy channels and creators that cover that kind of thing. Thanks.
Dark Mode will also extend MBP battery life.

I only want that the Problems of MacOS like HDMI Monitors, Bluetooth Hotspot, Finder and so much small other Things are Robust and working Again. I will buy a new Mac only if MacOS is Robust Again as it was. All these Features are here not essential or do things I do not want to be done automatically.

So the movement towards the fusion of iOS and MacOS isn’t done yet. It’s somehow reassuring to notice they make the transition less brutal than most of us expected. You can feel the system is now mature, the amount of new feature or redesigned features is pretty limited. Yet, there are still lots of bugs that Apple should fix, from the Bluetooth, SMB Shares, and many more. Let’s hope for the best someone deals with them!
