  1. Is there a notification or some sort of prompt when you leave your phone behind and watch looses signal to it? Come on apple its such a basic feature

    • At least there’s a red blinking icon on top of your watch to tell you. Came into use yesterday after I updated to 11.4. Saw the icon on my watch, found my iPhone turned off by itself.

    • Good point Wang. I love Apple but that sounds exactly right. They abuse us like dogs and we keep crawling back for more.

  4. It seems kind of ridiculous to limit walkie talkie to the watch. As popular as Apple watches are, they’re still WAY less common than iOS devices.
    I wouldn’t be surprised if carriers gave them crap about it though.

    • MayaTheKat the voice recorder feature means you have to record a message, wait for it to send, then they need to get the notification, open messages, play the message, then to respond they have to repeat the process.
      With walkie talkie you just hold down the button and they hear you instantly without you or them having to do anything else. The feature isn’t just about communication by voice.

    • I know but im saying there is no need for walkie talkie on other devices because they already have voice memos for when you want to send a short message. It makes sense Apple would choose to make it a watch only feature.

  6. My fav feature is the ability to enable a slower button click in accessibility. I just couldn’t double click fast enough to make purchases before. Problem solved.

  7. Cool but still no warning on the watch when you are leaving from somewhere without your iPhone…

    • Maybe if you have an Apple Watch with LTE could you create a reminder “Where is my iPhone ?” Every time you leave home ?
      Can this reminder be specifically for the LTE watch and not for the iPhone ? If yes it may work !?

  8. I’m disappointed that there is no auto pause for an outdoor cycling workout which you would think is more necessary than a running workout since cyclist have to stop at stop signs and traffic lights.

    • If the cycling workout was only for stationary, why would they include GPS functionality? The truth is, *it’s not* just for stationary cycling – it’s just that Apple has fairly consistently ‘neglected’ cycling workout features. Not only is there (still) no auto-pause, but all of the documentation and videos I’ve seen thus far on the new ‘auto-start’ features in WatchOS 5 *DO NOT* include the cycling workout

    • Mike Manthe I agree. And, there is specifically a station and a outdoor cycling workout. So, the fact is that Apple is just not bothering with it.

    • D H you can make your own watch faces from your pictures, go to your camera roll, click on the share button and select create a watch face

    • Carver Johnson I believe the fact that no third party analog watch faces is what is meant. The custom picture watch faces are all digital. The S3 gear has a win in this respect where it has dozens and dozens of unique analog watch faces to choose from as well as digital.
