they both open apps actually the 5s was faster in the opening only thing is
more ram

the 5s is still a fast phone :)
It’s a great phone but it isn’t as future proof as the SE sadly
+Br Lay the se isn’t future proof. it’s a downgrade from 6s. you want a
future proof phone, get a nexus.
+ThatOneVideo I have a Nexus 6 but I never liked it after a year of use it
slows down a lot I need to do a lot of resetting to get the phone fast like
it was.
+Br Lay yeah, I never had one but I heard they are really good, lightning
port, fingerprint scanner etc. I have the s6 active, had it since it came
out and it hasn’t slowed down any even with a bunch of crap on it lol. I
think I will stick with samsung for a while.

face camera. Other than that it’s basically the same phone which makes it
really future proof.

That suppose to be a really easy and straightforward test and yet you still
fail it, very nice job Jeff ….
Suppose we open 20 tabs on a phone(any one) and due to limited amount of
ram while opening the 20th tab it had to kill the 1st tab. Now we want to
check the multitasking capabilities of the phone and we check how many tabs
does it have in memory.
When we try opening the first tab, it refreshes and to load it it requires
memory which it will get by purging the memory from 2nd tab because it was
the oldest tab in memory. repeat this process till the 20th tab and you
will be surprised to know that this phone did not even have 1 page in
memory.
Really what i am trying to say here is that if the reviewer tried opening
the tabs in the reverse order(from 20th to 1st) maybe the phone might have
scored better marks in the multitasking department.
I have an iPhone 5s and the iPhone SE is NOT worth an upgrade. you only get
a seconds faster on a real world usage with the SE.
it’s not future proof tho… think about when ios 10 comes out
+DragonFire251 What are they going to add to 10 that will slow it down, as
it is already a mature product. Not unless they artificially bloat it which
will make older devices slower and force people to upgrade. Apple have a
lot of older hardware to support, and they only stopped making the iPhone
5s in March 2016, so they have to continue supporting it with ios for at
least a few more years.
The iPhone SE is for users who like the small screen experience with the
insides of the latest 6S phone (not including 3D Touch). You won’t notice a
major change if it’s for basic use such as safari or Facebook but it
performs great with intense games and has the opportunity to get newer
firmwares because of its high performance. The iPhone 5s will soon be let
go and be stuck on an old update.
Interesting how much more data/battery that the 5s would require over the
SE. It’s no wonder users say the battery life of the SE is a massive
improvement(and even beats the 6/6s)
SE screen is so yellow…
maybe coldplay designed that screen….

Thanks for doing… but not really real use… I’m sure the 2gb ram is
better for some stuff, but your test totally unrealistic as I would never
open 25 and then scroll through the 25.
