  1. Great video! A lot went over my head the first run through, but I will be listening closer the second time around. If Apple is unwilling to support graphics boxes in bootcamp does that mean that I will not be able to play games using an external graphics card in bootcamp Windows?

    • eGPU does work in Wins, but it will not be as easy as plug and play in Mac OS. Check egpu.io, you will have to make few adjustment to get it working.

  2. Agree on how it’s intriguing that a laptop like this can plug/unplug from a bank of power at will. Too bad only the USB-C MacBook pros support it. Honestly wish the dongle game was easier just to use this in the future XD

  3. While external graphics card seems to be a good idea, I believe it is actually a large waste of money.

  4. Jeff, I rewatched the video and allowed it to auto play to the next video which was your eGPU/1080ti video where you booted into Bootcamp and used the card with Windows. In Windows the performance penalty of the card with the internal display seemed nominal. Is it because of the differences between the way Windows and MacOS handle driving the internal display?

    • I’d like to know as well. I was running eGPU on bootcamped Windows with 1060Ti and Akito Node and it was an absolute beast. Internal display was a matter of 2-3 FPS drop to be honest

    • What models ale you using ? I’am thinking about buying EGPU just for gaming in boot camp. The internal GPU is fine for me in MacOS. Can you make some video or give me another references ? I want to use built in display of corse !

  5. also supported is new macmini 2018 with upgradable 3rd party ram up to 64GB and upgradable sdd.

    then I woke up.
