The iPhone 5 and 5c have pretty much the same, however the 5s is completely new. The 5c is probably just faster because it was optimized to run IOS 7
Yes but constantly letting the battery die is good for the battery which is why apple has those functions with it on. Samsung and HTC are still that way because they realize the same thing while Motorola is still behind in techonology
