4. The touchbar is garbage. I hope next year they remove from their mbp ( at
   least the 15″). These are not pro machines anymore. The magic of Apple is
   lost in its way over priced and underpowered aluminum bodies.

   • Why are they not Pro anymore? Because they replaced function keys with
     something that people are more likely to use? Because they use USB C only?
     Tell me how this machine is underpowered? We’ve seen time and time again it
     handles Pro work without a single issue. Stop watching tech bloggers who
     think it’s cool to thrash it… They are all secretly using them. Touch Bar
     is in no way perfect yet, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s new technology.

   • TechFeast I’ll add some input here. I love the new keyboard, the trackpad
     size, the new speakers and the new screen. I prefer the non glowing apple
     logo and the lack of normal USB ports. that said, the machine is half a
     grand too expensive, with sub-par battery life and performance to boot. I
     love my machine, but it’s not worth the price it calls for- especially with
     the components it has. The SSD is excellent, albeit insanely expensive to
     the point of just stupidity. it’s annoying that the machine caps at 16 gigs
     of last-gen RAM and last gen CPUs- but I get why that happened. The GPUs
     are poor, especially compared to current gen 10 series chips, but apple
     chose the lower energy option for space reasons.

     so yes, it’s a good machine, but don’t flip put when people justly critique
     it.

   • If someone who criticises it has genuinely used it and found their own
     personal issues with it, then I respect that. Most of those who criticised
     it haven’t used it – or only just ‘tested’ it. Last Gen CPUs was all they
     could do with quad-core as Kabylake wasn’t available and on the dual-core
     it was very minimal. I don’t use mine to play games or edit videos so the
     graphics isn’t as much as a big deal. For a machine that can run both
     Windows and Mac and has a much bigger life expectancy with the absolutely
     perfect build quality, the price is easily justifiable to me.
