I like it. We can load up ApplePay with a fixed amount, say $20, and if ever there is a fraudulent or accidental use it’d be limited to the amount we have on that virtual card.

Only on the ticket machines to top up your Shenzhen Tong. In Guangzhou you can use it directly on the ticket barriers.

I’m just not understanding the purpose of this. Why not use your digitally attached debit or credit card where your money already is stored instead of taking it out and putting it onto another card. Or if you want to use it to transfer money to someone why not use Venmo

I use Venmo to collect rent and pay friends, I have my bank attached to regular Apple Pay

Wechat pay and alipay are better cuz it’s cross platform

The problem with this is Australian banks have there own app that can do this and have done this for yeaRs so apples going to have a tough time getting it here even apple pay was rejected by many banks because they have better tech in there own apps for the same thing
1-3 business days to cash out is garbage Apple….PayPal is rolling out the 30 minute transfer to bank! But I guess integrating this system into IOS will make your experience better?
