Good point. FYI after I saw my first white Tab 4 I had to buy one but the one I bought was stuck on Android 4.x so I had to buy a second one with Android 5.x

If they really want to sell these and make a dent in the HIV malaria prevention they need to sell these at launch! I couldn’t stand that white screen. I am so happy they went with a black screen.
David Ackley Hi David! I thought the same thing. Now I’m thinking Apple purposely does not want to do that. The number of red iPhones sold, if released at launch, would far exceed the number sold at mid-cycle (IMO). Kudos to Apple for supporting these causes. But I bet they crunched the numbers, and realized the loss of profits would be more than they’re willing to absorb if the red iPhone was sold for a whole year. A mid-cycle release does also boost what would otherwise be slumping sales. Marketing aside, I still call this a “Bad Apple.” Not only do I think Apple can afford to support Product Red causes at a higher level, but I also think a red iPhone released at launch would be a well-earned gesture of support toward Apple’s most loyal customers, the Early Adopters!

I don’t like iPhones and iOS, but this red color is magnificent. It has that extra for me, to say, want this phone. (The last time, when I said that, was, when Nokia launched the Lumia Icon/930.)

No I agree the black bezel looks heavy on the red particularly when off. Ok with a black background home or lock screen with reds and other bright colours the black hiding the big bezels but generally the iPhone 7 Red was prettier. The deep red and chrome Apple logo and graphics with glass looks better from the rear nevertheless on the 8
