  1. Hope the normal Home Screen Widgets will be updated more frequently than 5 minutes and become real toogles.

  2. The home app is okay. But it’s only used when setting up things. Way more important is that in the control center we can add more buttons! So annoying!

  3. I’m really looking forward to the cleaner look of the new Home app, particularly the ability to easily reorder rooms and the fact that buttons can now be much smaller, allowing more to be visible at one time.

  4. I don’t use the “home” app and thought you meant Home Screen. I wish Apple would make an option to get rid of that god awful App Library. Every time I mistakenly swipe left I get annoyed it’s still there.

  5. After Will Byers and his Stranger Things companions conquered the Upside Down, they asked him what he wanted to do with his life. “Review Apple products,” he said. “And grow my hair out.”

  6. I’m still on iOS 15 and suddenly the automations for my Hue lights stopped working with a “not enough resources available” error. I had to disable all my shortcuts and use the ones from the Hue app.

    • Simply put: Security. Rather than letting all the different devices communicate with the wider internet in their own way, all of them connect to that “hub” which then has its connection to the the outside internet for access through your HomeKit app.

  7. Just got the beta on my iPad and so far I like HomeKit, don’t like where the on/off is, slider should be where the on/off is.

  8. Thank you!!! Sadly My HomeKit constantly does not respond! I use it for my august lock & two lights, it’s useless. I have a hub and I use my Apple TV for my hub. Hardly ever behaves!!

  9. I hate hate hate having to click twice to turn a light on or off. Wish them bring back that more simple functionality.

  10. How to turn on or turn off lights with one click? I don’t like to use brightness toggle to turn it off, it’s frustrating me.

  11. I’d like to be able to remove the rooms menu on the left hand side of the screen when in landscape mode. Especially because I run an iPad by my front door and use it in guided access mode, but with the new version the area of the screen I have disabled (automations & discover) can be bypassed by dragging.
