  1. And to verify this he just shown FHD @ 60 Hz (which is available without
    any patch). Lol show the UHD @ 60 Hz, not just talk about it.

    • Yeah, sure. So why is the system report showing the resolution to be
      1920×1080 (Full HD)? It should be 3840×2160 (Ultra HD) @ 60Hz even if you
      use retina scaling (/4) to get Full HD hdpi? Switch to UHD @ 60Hz and show
      it on a video. Was it too hard to click that one more time and prove it?

    • +The Black Pearl has a very good point, at the end you just have the screen
      in 1920×1080 output… it should be at 3840×2160 – pixel doubling doesn’t
      impact the output the monitor.

    • Surely the answer depends entirely on what you want to use it for and under
      what conditions. One is a general purpose ultra-mobile machine, the other
      is a much more powerful machine with more ports. Its all down to your needs
      (and budget).

  2. Does this work with the apple HDMI adapter or will it only work with a
    straight USB-C plug in? Very important to know.

  3. does it work just for the macbook or is it possible to get a 4k monitor
    running @60Hz over thunderbold on a mid 2014 13″ retina macbook pro?
