21 Comments on How To Fix iPhone 14 Pro & Pro Max Always On Display!
This helps so much thank you.
You can also set a sleep mode and choose who you get notifications from like family and friends you can choose apps you want to get notifications from as well
Thank you for sharing this fix! Without wishing to be petty, I would like to make the following observation: It should be noted that this option actually only “dims” the lock screen wallpaper. If you look at it in a completely dark room, bright areas of the image remain minimally visible. Nonetheless this is a great workaround!
My problem with this is that it dims the wallpaper when the display is woken up, which kinda defeats the purpose of having wallpaper. Especially since I have it cycle through photos of my wife and kids each time I wake my phone.
It also only dims the wallpaper more than usual. It’s not 100%, but a lot better.
I wish they had an option to just make it black when locked, and go back to normal when unlocked. I’d also like a slider to control the relative brightness of the clock and widgets. The default is a bit distracting. I don’t want to always notice it, but I do want to be able to check it. On that Android device in this video it seemed too dim. I think somewhere in between would be perfect for me. Hopefully they add more customization in 16.1 or 16.2.
You do know you can turn always on display off right ?
@Elite Trainer Jay how
Hey Fernando, there’s been two iPadOS betas come out since your last video. Are you not reviewing them any more?
I don’t mind this iteration of always on honestly but this is good advice
Fix implies broken.
What an absurd complaint
FYI: The volume of your videos is always much lower than anything else in my feed.
I love my 14 pro max but the first thing you do is turn of AOD, it eats too much battery
The fact you have to change it to get the CORRECT way an AOD is disappointing
You can also go to Display & Brightness. Go to the bottom and turn ALWAYS ON off.
That kinda defeats the purpose lol
Is there a way to use this as a bedside clock? Always on turns off after a while of inactivity!
@Brenda Hatch for help ☝️☝️☝️
Settings > Focus > do not disturb > options > Dim Lock Screen
Omg thank you so much I thought my phone was broken
It is possible to put the entire month’s calendar on the always on display?
Bro just go to always on display and toggle don’t show wallpaper
This helps so much thank you.
