How-To: use Night Shift + Low Power Mode at the same time in iOS 9.3

This has been fixed by Apple: When you enable Low Power Mode in iOS 9.3 while Night Shift is enabled, Night Shift is immediately turned off. But by using this handy trick, you can use Night Shift + Low Power Mode simultaneously. Read more at 9to5Mac:

  1. wow! that’s nice!!! thanks!!
but it looks like it is a bug.. i don’t know why we can’t use both without
    this trick.. =T

  2. Jeff ! I have an iphone 6 with ios 9.0.0 , should i upgrade to 9.3? I need
to know if my phone will be faster. Also i dont care about jailbreak so pls
answer me asap ! Thank you very much.

  3. i think they should have made it so you can use both at the same without
that work around, because you’re most likely to use night shift at the end
of the day when your battery is low… thanks for the tip.

  4. This was helpful. Thanks 9to5 Mac.
For everyone else – just tell Siri to turn it on. There, saved you 2
    minutes.

  5. There’s one drawback to this is that it throws off the schedule of
Nightshift the next day. I’ve found out myself that using Siri to toggle
Nightshift on at the same time with Low Power Mode made Nightshift enabled
till the next day, then it disabled itself and no matter what schedule you
set Nightshift to turn on, it won’t happen. Until you reschedule it again.

  6. I still have 9.3 and Siri says she’ll have to disable low power mode to
enable night shift. Is there a workaround around this

  7. Doesn’t work for 9.3.1. Siri told me she’d have to turn off low power mode
    to enable night shift.
