Subscribe now ► – 9to5Mac has spotted code indicating that major changes are coming to iOS 14. We can expect advanced cursor support (trackpad and mouse) to arrive in iPadOS 14, with a brand new Smart Keyboard with integrated trackpad and perhaps backlit keys. What could all of this mean? Watch for the details, and stay tuned for more.

Always feels like the iPad has as much power as the MacBooks. Now will bring them even closer. Will do wonders for the office apps also.
Love it! I’d add a trackpad, but not integrated with the keyboard. I’ve always had trouble with inadvertent focus moves when my hand touches the trackpad in my MacBook Pro. I’ll keep the trackpad separate, thanks!
I think I’m going to return the Mac Mini I just picked up and wait and see what Apple releases. As soon as I buy a new machine new releases are out 🙁
Hallelujah!
Apple Pro Suite for iPad Pro: Final Cut. Aperture. Logic.
Despite Aperture being dead for 8 years, it still is nfnitely better than iPhoto. So why allow all of Apples old work to just sit in mothballs. We need some differentiators to help justify the insane Pro markup so lets see some apps that actually do Pro work.
Dear Jeff,
Could you update the steps for running Windows 10 on Mac using Samsung X5 external storage? I have understood from comments that using Parallels and plug in keyboard and mouse are the keys to success.
Thanks!

You’re awesome bro. Every other youtuber runs their channel off you
Lmao, NO.
It’s true. Y’all are some awesome guys. Keep up the great work. I just wonder why everyone hears them saying. According to 9to5 MACK. It just makes me wonder why y’all don’t have millions of subscribers
That would be my greatest dream come true ever! Final Cut Pro 10 for the iPad please please please!
What I want to know, is will the trackpad enabled keyboards be compatible with the last gen iPad Pro?
I almost wish I did not just buy a brand new iPad Pro. To say I’m excited for this is an understatement.
I think trackpad support would be great on the iPad Pro. I don’t see Final Cut Pro coming to the iPad Pro in the near future unless Apple releases a lite version for the iPad. I don’t think Apple wants to cannibalize the MacBook Pro’s sales.
I’m looking at getting a 3rd gen IPad Pro 11”. What do you think the life span will be on this device before it starts to be “too slow” or not useful. Thanks
yes, excited for track pad support 🙂
