  1. is it true that iOS4.3 provides multi touch gestures? apple’s iOS4.3 web
page doesn’t even mention about that. though, multi touch on iPad looks
    great!

  2. Ipad ios 4.3 firmware does not have multi touch gestures its was only for
developers on the beta stage of the firmware the puplic do not have these
    new gestures sorry

  3. @smeato09 omg, i just updated it and i was trying to do that, i was
wondering why it didn’t work, so does the iphone have gestures?

  4. @smeato09 actually, if you have an ipad with 4.3, and a mac, and 5 bucks to
dish out for Xcode, you can easily enable these just by clicking a button.

  5. @jasonisroxursox Actually you can do it with Xcode 3 that is in the Mac OS
X installation DVD or you can download it from the Apple developer web page
    for free.

  6. @xxDaNextBallaxx It has nothing to do with lazy. This saves you from
wearing out the home button on your device.

  7. this would be a big problem for games that use 5 fingers or more, what if
you accidentally make a gesture out of the game? happy it wasn’t in iOS5
srsly, it was just beta, but it can definitely be fixable

  8. @xxDaNextBallaxx It’s got nothing to do with lazy- it’s a smoother
application, both aesthetically speaking and for people who are in a rush.
It’s a lot quicker to just flick your hand across the screen as opposed to
finding the button and trying to press it (which in some cases can be
difficult depending on how large the button is that you’re trying to
press). Not sure if you’ve noticed, but society has grown to LOVE polished
and aesthetically smooth applications and styles.

  9. I made a tutorial: How to activate iPad gestures in iOS 4.3.X without
jailbreak, you don’t need to be a developer 😉 Watch my channel 😉
